Yo what's up y'all, Davonne reporting in!
A lot's been progressing with the production of the new live-action film that's being made by Robot Underdog. Since my last journal introducing you all to the first trailer of the film, the cast has been practicing their lines and the fight scenes. For those who are hearing about this for the first time, This movie is called Dragon Ball Z: The Light of Hope. It is a crowd-funded film, meaning the source of it's funding came strictly from average every-day people like you and I (and yes I have donated to this project as well, because it's just awesome like that! You can also donate if you wish: www.robotunderdog.com/dbz-dona…. The film is a free non-profit, episodic series - three episodes in total, which will be roughly 30 mins each. The movie is based on the History of Trunks. For those who don't know the DBZ series well, the History of Trunks was an animated filler of the Android Saga. Derek Pedula is the lead writer and script editor of this live action series, merely enacting the events of the animated film into reality. The film is being directed by Donnie McMillan.
Here you'll find Behind the scenes photos of the cast and crew:
Great photos right? Even nicer, check out the footage of the cast members' Choreography training!
Another great piece of news are the new cast members that's been added! Ruthann Thompson will be playing the role of Bulma, and Tim Neff will be playing the role of Future Trunks. I'm sure they'll do fantastic jobs in their roles.
And now ladies and gentlemen, it is time for you all to see the newest trailer for the film. I've waited eagerly throughout the whole weekend, and shared the news with all my friends at work. It was finally released today and I hope you all enjoy it!
Please leave me a comment, I'd like to know how you all felt about the footage. Give me your feedback and even share your criticism, but please be mindful that the film is not yet finished. There is still plenty of room for improvement and they are willing to listen to Constructive Criticism.
So go on and have at it, let me know what's up. Thanks for reading and enjoy!
